Asian Pan-Fried Tofu

  1. Step 1

    In a small bowl combine soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, sugar and garlic. Stir well to combine and add coriander.

  2. Step 2

    Place cornflour in a bag and add tofu. Toss gently to combine. Be sure not to break the tofu.

  3. Step 3

    Heat 1cm oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook tofu in batches until each piece has browned and is crispy. Drain on a paper towel.

  4. Step 4

    Divide tofu evenly between plates and drizzle dressing.

  5. Step 5

    Dress with peanuts and additional coriander, to taste.

  6. Step 6

    Serve with Asian coleslaw and/or rice.
